Inspired Motion Privacy Policy - Effective January 2008

We developed this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to protecting your privacy and to help you in understanding how we handle your personal information.

Our Privacy Principles

We will never distribute, lend, share, sell or give your email address or personal details to anybody.
We only use permission-based lists and will never to sell or rent your details.

The only exception to this is if we need to disclose information to comply with the law or to protect our rights in our site.

The Information We Collect

In order to participate in any of our classes you will need to register. To register, we ask that you provide your name, a valid email address, your postal address and contact telephone number. If the participant is between 11 – 15 years old, we ask for the contact name, telephone number and email address for a parent or guardian. There will be a drop down box to indicate whether or not the legal guardian consents to the use of their child’s image in any of our marketing material, but once the child begins attending our classes we will send out a paper form in order to get a signature.

We also ask for your level and ask if you have any experience in dance/yoga in order to assess your level, but this information is not essential.


Your Email Address

We use your email address to perform the following tasks:

To answer email that we receive from you;

To send you alerts and updates about our site.

To send you confirmation emails when you register and/or pay.

To send out newsletters keeping you updated on our events and classes.

You will have to opportunity to unsubscribe from newsletter emails but you may not opt-out of receiving these transactional emails.

If you use the "forward a friend" newsletter feature to send our newsletter to a friend, we will use that email address once only.

Sharing Information

Except as described in this privacy policy, we will not share personally identifying information about you with third parties, unless required by law or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

We may, however, share non-identifying or aggregate information that we collect using log files with advertisers. Log files are not tied to personally identifiable information. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our site, but we will not disclose anything that could be used to identify those particular individuals.

Please note that this site contains links to other sites not controlled by us. We ask that you please review the privacy policies of these other sites, as we cannot be responsible for the privacy or other practices of such sites.

Modifications To This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here and by means of a notice on our home page.

Anti-Spam Policy

Inspired Motion’s newsletter follows the strictest permission-based philosophies:

Communication – Our registration and newsletter sign up page clearly states why we are collecting your email address, how we plan to use it.

Unsubscribe - Every newsletter generated from Inspired Motion contains an unsubscribe link which allows you to opt-out of future emails.

Identification – All of our newsletters will clearly state that it is from Inspired Motion.

Contact Information - all of our newsletters have our contact details present.
